Michele McDonald

Headshot of Michele McDonald.

Michele has served as the NCA Assistant Director since September 2022. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social studies education and a master’s degree in higher education administration, both from the University of Dayton (go Flyers!). After finishing her undergraduate degree, Michele was a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Thailand from 2015-2016, inspiring her to pursue fellowship advising as a profession and help students apply for transformative opportunities. Prior to working at UC, Michele was both a social studies and martial arts teacher at several Cincinnati schools and the Honors Program Coordinator at the University of Dayton. Outside of work, Michele loves to train martial arts; she is currently a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and previously won an amateur title in kickboxing. She also enjoys international travel, trying new restaurants in the Cincinnati area, and spending time with her husband, Greg, and dog, Sage.
